I am a small hobby breeder currently located in beautiful Southeastern Arizona. I am a proud member of the MCBA.

I have been breeding chinchillas for about three years now, but have owned chinchillas for years. Our first chinchilla was given to us and we became very attatched to him. It was having Snowball that created such a love for these wonderful little creatures. We had a lot to learn and so started our journey.

We lost Snowball after we went on a family vacation. We had someone who we trusted to take care of our pets that did not. When we returned home we found him swimming (literally) in a cage full of water. He had chewed a hole in the water bottle and they continued to fill it. We lost Snowball to complications from that unfortunate event. Now we have about 25 chins and growing all the time.

My goal is to raise happy healthy chins and to help others learn all that I have learned and continue to learn. My chins all come from highly recommended breeders and ranchers. If I can help one person get educated about chinchillas and not buy from their local pet store then I feel like I am accomplishing something. I raise both pet and hopefully show quality chins. My chins are all handled on a daily basis and my babies are exposed to people from day one. This is done to help ensure healthy even tempered chinchillas. This however, does not guarantee the chinchilla will be people oriented. Some chinchillas just never learn to trust people.

Currently we breed for almost all color variations. We do not breed sapphires or any of the recessive beiges. We are increasing our herd as we go along. We are hoping to add more violet variations soon. I am always willing to help anyone with whatever I can. If I don't have what someone needs, I will help him or her find it. Please don't hesitate to email me with any questions.
